Irvine Strikers Alum Christian Thierjung Scores 5 Goals Against Harvard

Senior Christian Thierjung elevated his social media moniker to a new level after scoring five goals at Goldman Field to help California (3-2-1) decisively rout Harvard 6-2 and keep its undefeated home streak alive (3-0-1 in Berkeley, Calif.).

Thierjung opened the market in the 25' receiving a double assist from Ugo Rebecchini and Jose Carrera-Garcia that found its sweet spot in the back corner of the net. That ignited action from Spencer Held who connected before the half on a perfect setup from Sam Ebstein.
The second half was #TJALLDAY with the Dove Canyon, Calif., native displaying aggressive moves to strike one in during the 49', 56', 71' and 74', before he departed the game. Carrera-Garcia added another assist to Thierjung's scoring frenzy with a pass to Simon Lekressner who got it into Cal's All-Pac-12 Preseason selection.
